You’re right that actually being able to implement the policy is difficult, if not impossible. And I suspect that’s why a lot of candidates have given less than convincing answers when questioned a bit more forensically. I imagine as the race goes on that’s where the ideological diversity will come, but for now, I find it hard to imagine some one going on record explicitly against Medicare for all, in theory at least.
