Hi Tom, yes, sorry for the confusion, but I do know who won the election and — by literally everything I say in the piece — clearly know how the president is chosen. Because there are two quantifiable metrics, however (albeit only one matters, as you kindly point out), I chose a title deliberately a bit provocative; perhaps even to make people want to read the rest. Not least because it is quite rare for the two not to align. Again, I do say this, too. Thanks again for explaining, though.
